We have a winner.
While the '90 rec looks out of place with the others, it is such a fine late era show. Jerry does a great job riding in the side car playing and singing behind Brent's Just a Little Light. He loved and excelled in supporting roles in a way he's never gotten enough credit for imo.

The energy and pure joy to be heard on the 7/72 recording is a wonder.

Wonderful is right for 7/16, 18 /72, a " two show east coast tour" and the first ones without Pigs. and a start of all the great Roosevelt shows like 8/1/73 to follow.

They were tanned, rested and ready after patching their bones for seven weeks following their spring European odyssey. You can feel and hear it- the energy and joy just pours from them for three hours. Because of all this context I'm not sure there's another performance like it.

I am taking that ride again. And the PITB was just breaking its shell.
